Children Living The Faith
The Children's Ministry of Christ Church serves the very youngest of our congregation through children in the 5th grade. Here you will find information on our Sunday morning programs as well as activities and opportunities we have available for children throughout the week and year. For more information on our Children's Ministry, contact Jennifer George at jgeorge@cantoncpc.org or through the church office at 330-456-8113.
View our Children in Worship page.
Nursery
Our Nursery is located in the lower level and is caringly staffed by volunteers from 9am through the 10:30 service. Pagers are available so the parents can be contacted anywhere in the building if needed.
9:15 Sunday School
Runs from September through June.
Classes are held in our lower level for children age three through fifth grade. Our classes focus on providing age appropriate ways for children to learn about Jesus in a fun and faith filled atmosphere. For information on what the children are learning this month, check out our FAMILY FOCUS newsletter.
10:30 Kids' Church
Children age three through 5th grade are invited to join us for Kids' Church in our lower level following the children's message in the 10:30 service. Children in the 3yr-5yr class and the Kindergarten- 2nd grade class will hear stories, play games, sing songs, and make crafts that help teach and remind them of God's love. Children in 3rd through 5th grade have a time of worship in the Chapel. There is time for sharing, a weekly message and for prayer. Following the worship time, they head to the lower level where we have fun activities such as crafts, bible trivia games, and singing songs.
On communion Sundays, children in the 3rd-5th grade class remain in worship so that they may hear the sermon and participate in communion if they wish. Families of children younger than 3rd grade that would like their child to participate in communion can pick up their children early from class, or have them remain in service.

Kids will be challenged to be heroes who do the unexpected, take action, step out on faith, save the day, and stand for truth! You can be a hero to the children of our church and community by volunteering for this great week!! Family Fellowship Activities
Families today are on the go and Christ Church knows the importance of finding time and activities to share together. We offer many activities throughout the year that your entire family will enjoy and look forward to. From our annual Easter Egg Hunt, to our Fall Fest, to the IX Indoor Amusement Park, your family can create memories together.
Children's Library
Located in the lower level, we hope our new Children’s Library will be a special place of enjoyment and discovery though books, music, movies, and more! There will also be special resources for parents to use that offer guidance with difficult topics, and open up conversation with their children.
